Pergola :
This pergola is designed with 6 wooden posts and a «ceiling» made up of spaced out thick boards. Taking into account the angle of the sun in our latitudes, the shade is obtained on the one hand by the height and the orientation boards ie: East-West and on the other hand, by the addition between the posts of blinds which protect you from the sun as it sets westward as the day goes on.
Consequently, we feel good there even if the weather is really hot because the place is perfectly ventilated.
6 people can sit around the teak table and as many as 12 with the two extensions.
This photo which was taken on June 24th at 2.00 pm when the sun is the highest of the year in the sky shows the widest ray of light on the table passing between the boards. It is never wider than this so it is perfect.
In the evening, LED lighting takes over when night falls.
